I just replaced the ignition switch (not the key tumbler) on the '91 GLS, and all's fixed now. No more fumbling with the tumbler, trying to get the turn signals/fan/reverse lights/engine fan to work properly, they all work on their own as they're supposed to with the key on. Little by little, the GLS is becoming quite a good little car.

I did try to swap out my chime module with the '92 LX, but they're different! Mine chimes, but it's so quiet you can barely hear it. The '92s worked fine when it was parked but it's plug was longer and inline weras the plug for the '91's module is two-row and shorter.

Don't you just love how they change that crap up almost every single year?

LOL at least the '92's bumper worked on the '91 reasonably well. Smile

You got a point in there, sir.

I'll have to replace the key tumbler soon, but i want to get as close as i can to original keys, so i'll have to keep looking.
