I've got an 89 Escort GT bumper waiting to go on my car. It looks like it will actually bolt on okay, but the lines may not be cosmetically perfect. That is, it looks like the rear "lips" of the bumper would stick out further i.e. they have more of a flare to them than that of the stock Tempo bumper. As such, it may require some "beating into place". Frank has said that an 88 Escort GT bumper is a better fit cosmetically.
For the record, these fenders are getting VERY difficult to find in decent shape. At this stage of the game, the plastic has gotten brittle and they are prone to cracking / falling apart. That is, up here in the mid-west where we get snow, salt and big temperature swings. If you can find one in good shape at a reasonable price, grab it. Couldn't find one locally for a LONG time and finally drove from Chicago to somewhere in Ohio to pick one up. Sean

I can't recall if the front bumpers are the same or not. Will look it up and get back to you. Sean

The two door and four door cars show to use the same bumper according to my FoMoCo parts manual. As such, finding a bumper just got a little easier Sean
