| Hey, I have a Tempo coupe and I noticed a few Topaz/Tempo's around that were sedan's that had 4 rear brake lights... Mine only seems to have 2. Is this normal, or are all tempo's supposed to have 4 and mine has 2 burned out? |

Except for first gens, which are odd, it goes as follows:
2 door: one single tail light on each side, one single rear turn light on each side, one single reverse light on each side, centre high mount stop lamp (number of bulbs not known)
4 door: two tail light bulbs per side, one rear turn light per side, one reverse light per side, centre light mount stop lamp (again, number of bulbs not known)
The first gen Topazes have weird rear lights, I can't tell you about them. First gen Tempos have one bulb on each side, combined brake/turn. |

its pretty easy to figure out. all you have ot do is pop the formed "carpet" from out of the trunk... in my 4 door, there is 4 bulbs on either side of the rear, and there are two bulbs in the center mount third brake light. taken off by removing the two screws on either side of the third brake light cover and then the cover simply pops off. I know this is an old post and in three years im sure youve figured it out but just in case...  |
