Post subject: TempoTopaz, Premium stereo.

| Okay, I'm confused as to if i have the premium stereo or not. When i replaced my speakers they said premium on the magnets, but if i had the premium stereo shouldn't my car have a factory amp ? if there is a factory amp where is it? |

Not sure as to what you're talking about.
But If it matters, as i should have posted in the first place i have a 1991 tempo sedan. |

The package tray is also called the parcel shelf. It's the shelf behind the back of the rear seat, and just below the window. If you open the trunk, you can usually see the bottoms of the rear speakers, that is where jglen490 is referring to. This shelf is also where the third brake light rests.

| My car came with the premium speakers but no amp. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more out there like it. |

| the amp is mounted right between the 2 6x8" speakers on the rear shelf, you can get to it through the trunk. i have a spare one sitting in my storage unit. |
