It's a few years late, but I found this picture on a Mustang group. Could this be the ellusive Ranchempo? Tempero?

No Rolling Eyes

Quite honestly, it looks like a half-baked, unfinished parody of a Chevy Avalanche that got stuck out in the rain - and shrank.

Not even close to cool.

You would think that he would have taken the clips for the rear glass trim off.
The rear end of the car must be really wonky with the rear seat structure, and the outer body structure bits cut out .

Truck? What can you carry in the "bed" of that thing without the wheels banging into the wheel wells? Cool looking or not ( eye of the beerholder!!! ), it simply isn't practical at all. Sean

So all you need to do is remove the trunk lid, rear window and a bit of sheet metal and you have a truck? I don't think so. Perfectly good car gone to waste in my opinion.

I agree. If you want a truck, get a truck, not a station wagon without the station, and certainly not a coupe, come on...

Still better looking than a Subaru BRat, though.

The backward facing seats with the handlebars in the bed were cool!

Getting laid a lot is dangerous, riding a motorcycle is dangerous, hiking is dangerous, eating cheeseburgers is dangerous, even sitting around your house too much is dangerous. Wanna live forever?
