I do oil changes and check all fluids every (around) 3000mi. Every two oil changes, I do tire rotation witch gives me the chance to check break pads/shoes, and tie rods ends. I'll change belts every two years too.

I'd rather have a tempo than a payment.

Nice, i go almost the same way but every 5000kms. I just waited until my meter read 180,000 km and start from there, it's easier that way becausef you dont need to write down the numbers.

You keep track on your mind keifer?

Yep same as you. Did my last one right at 101000mi with tire rotation. That reminds me, I'm about to hit 104000mi here soon.

main topic came because i am planning to change struts now, but i wanted to leave a register about it.

I used to use an app for the ipod called "car care pro", but id didn't had any backup features and i lost all my data when my ipod died. I do have an android phone and i'm still looking for an app that can handle all that
