| Well doing a blow by test can tell him whether or not he even needs to pursue that problem any further rather than take it to a shop and waste money. |

| I would pull out that second grommet and check it out, and make sure there is a baffle down in the valve cover. It is not uncommon for them (the grommets) to rot out, which could cause it to just simply leak. It's a fresh air breather so air can circulate to allow the PCV valve to take that moisture and nasty fumes, important part of the PCV system. Might be worth while to make sure it isn't clogged or anything weird like that. |
