| i was wondering if there is a way to lift the rear of my tempo maybe just an inch without replacing the coils?...i know that the right way is to replace the coils but this car maybe going to the big junkyard in the sky soon and i dont really want to dump alot into it |

bolt in coil spacers. I used em on my car. I do have new springs sitting here, but got them way after the fact of putting these in. I just ain't had that chance to put the springs in yet. Maybe this winter. Anyhow these can be had from most auto parts stores for like $15-20. Just watch for clearances with the body when you put em in. WhenI first put mine in and set it down, it sat really high, like and extra 2.5 inches higher than lever cause the spacers hit the body.

| how do these spacer affect the handling of the car tho? does it bottom out easier? ride stiffer? make noise? anything at all? cause id like to lift my rear and front up just a tad. cause i have the exrtra weight of my subs in the car all the time it sags a little more then id like. |

Seemed to handle better afterwards to me. stiffened it up a lil. But then again my springs were so shot with an empty trunk the car sagged IIRC 2 inches or so. It's softened up a bit and sagging again even with the spacers. and it's only been about a year they have been in there.
It's by far best to just replace the springs. |
